I had a highly frustrating experience with this business, specifically with the inspector, Mallorie Higgins. I strongly recommend taking your vehicle elsewhere or demanding a different inspector. Here is exactly how the interaction went: Zero Punctuality: I arrived exactly at my scheduled appointment time, but was told that the inspector had stepped out and I’d have to reschedule. I actually had to leave to go back to work, but I called back 30 minutes later when she answered and told me she had returned. Exacerbating the Damage: I had already received an online estimate from my photos, but during the physical inspection, Mallorie targeted a tiny, barely visible spot. She pressed down on it firmly, physically making the dent significantly worse and far more noticeable than it originally was. Because of this "new" dent, which she clearly didn't even notice himself until she started pressing on the panel, she inflated my repair estimate by a massive $1,000. This is when other body shops gave me an estimate which was $2000 lesser. I have attached pre- and post-inspection photos to show the difference. Julia, Mallory and Oscar (Monroe Ave Store) have assisted me in contacting insurance company and sharing each step with me. It has been two weeks but insurance adjuster came out in last two days. I do not know the outcome but I have a feeling I'm in good hands with this team of folks. Just having someone hit you in an accident is stressful. This is a great place. I accidentally smashed the left front of my Chevy SUV. Tphis required extensive and time consuming work. They did great work and when I got it back I could not tell the vehicle had ever been damaged. I would definitely go back there if there were anymore work to be done.Update:I had to go back to Gerber to have a left headlight and the area around it repaired after an accident. As before the repair was perfect and you could not tell that there had been any damage. I got my vehicle back in a reasonable time looking as great as before.

They've had my vehicle for almost 2.5 months now, allegedly waiting on parts. The day before I was scheduled to pick up my vehicle they extended the pick up date by another 1.5 weeks. At this point it's 100% laziness and/or incompetence and I'm convinced this location lies about how long repairs will take. Worst experience I've had in my life with a collision center. As others have stated, take your vehicle anywhere but here. Update: 5/6: I still don't have my vehicle back, lol. 6 months for a repair. Such a joke. Update as of February: still don't have my vehicle after the 3rd date of completion has come and gone. New ETA is a month away. Four months for a repair. Absolutely mind blowing that this place is in business.

I highly recommend you go elsewhere to service your vehicle. This location, specifically Julia, lied to me on multiple occasions about the status of my estimate and blamed my insurance for the delay when they had my estimate the entire time as they work directly with Allstate. When confronted, they continued to lie, were extremely rude, and had no interest in making the situation right. A simple process has now turned into a huge inconvenience and I will be seeking a different garage as I am not confident in the service being provided at this location. I recommend going somewhere with people who value integrity and honesty.
